Good Night......

When it's almost four in the morning and I get called in to work.....this is where my head is.................................................

Good Night
Lennon/McCartney

Now it's time to say good night
Good night
Sleep tight

Now the sun
turns out his light
Good night
Sleep tight

Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Close your eyes and I'll close mine
Good night
Sleep tight

Now the moon begins to shine
Good night
Sleep tight

Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Close your eyes and I'll close mine
Good night Sleep tight

Now the sun turns out his light
Good night
Sleep tight

Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Good night
Good night Everybody
Everybody everywhereGood night.

My Dad used to sing this song to me at night as a child.

All you parents out there need to pull out the White Album and play it for your kids too.....good memories!!!!

OK, here's the gig...
The only thing is, it doesn't command a three hour trip to southern Indiana. Just a quick jaunt west.
There are all kinds of disclaimers on this one, but, for fun and adventure and a "couple" thing to do, it's the best!
Crawfordsville has two places that rent out canoes, one is Clemens and the other is, well, I dunno the other one...I've always done the Clemens one.
In any case, you don't want to go after a big rain because they won't let you rent when the creek is running as hard as the river, but, depending on what you want to do,is how you gage when to go.
Ya like to meander down a quiet stream looking at rocks and geodes and turtles and Great Blue Herons, go on a dry spell. No rain for a couple of weeks means you will actually have to get out of the boat a time or two to portage over sand bars.
You like a nice ride, don't want to dilly dally any, go about a week after a good rainstorm. Decent water speed, though in Indiana's fastest falling creek (that's what Sugar Creek is) that's not so hard to find. This is still somewhat amateur proof, and is a whole lot of fun.
For the experienced canoist, two to three days after a good rain will give you the trill of a lifetime in about three hours. Dang it seems like yer going about a hundred miles an hour....OK, I exagerate some,....but, real fast! And, if you don't know what yer doing, quite dangerous.
So, a fine choice from Boneman....
But, don't take it from me. Being only a few miles outa town, you can go see the place anytime.
And, if ya get there and it's too fast (been there, done that,...they won't let you in...) there's also miniture golf (putt-putt without the franchise) two big time golf courses, and, last but not least, what I would call the premier of municipal golf courses. Wnderfully full, plush greens, wide fairways, and carts or bag carriers. The municipal course also has another brag that you won't hear about too many places,....when Last I was there, it was $18 / 18 holes.

Boneman...that sounds right up my alley...or creek whichever way you want to look at it.

Ryan and I love nature and appreciate a good canoe trip now and then...and then if we have the problem of too much rain, Ryan is also a golf enthusiast...so it sounds like a win/win...good deal!!!!
