This article reminds me of the spaghetti that actually made the news a few years ago because someone thought Jesus' face was in it. Does anyone remember that, or any of those other weird coincidences? I have also heard of statues of Mary bleeding from the eyes........

I've heard of the Mary one, There was also on of Mary crying milk, in south america somewhere.
I'm sure there are alot of weird stuff like that. There was one that I just remebered, the face of Jesus on a tortilla.

what about the grilled cheese that looked like mary was on it, selling on e-bay, remember that?

It might be real but then again.....Photoshop is a wonderful thing.
It can do everything from making it look like a dog jumping off the side of a mountain chasing a frisbee to raising good ol John Paul from the dead.

I kinda wondered about photo shop too. In the article, it said this man who took the picture had several pictures of the fire, and noticed this one after he looked through everything. So, apparently, it was just a split second that it was visible. he just caught it at the right time I guess. But, it wasn't as if it was visible to eveyone at the time or stayed that way for a long time. i think i would be a little more able to believe it was something significant if it was visible to all who were there.
Who knows.....stranger things have happened.
And, i also think that if this helps someone feel better to believe that it was the Pope, what harm is that gonna do? I think God talks to us and shows us things in a way each individual will see it......so who knows.....
Remember the chip lady that had a collections of chips that looked like other things?
She was on Johnny Carson. When she looked away from her collection, Carson pulled a "regular" chip out of his drawer or something and crunched down on it...totally freaked her out!
