Happy Birthday John Lennon!!!

John Lennon would have been 66 years old on October 9th, 2006. What a shame it is that he is not here to celebrate. However, he left with the world a legacy that can not be compared. He often crosses my mind.... wondering what he would have to say about this world today. I think most of us have a pretty good idea.

I still remember the day that Lennon died. It was the first time I ever saw my dad cry. That is still a very strong image in my mind's eye.

This is a short video of John's 31st birthday party. It's strange to think he accoplished so much, and touched so many lives in his few years on this earth......makes my 31 years here seem pretty trivial.....

This may seem crazy to you, especially since I was born in 65 - but I have no memory of the Beatles when they were popular.

By the time I started paying attention to music disco was movin' in. I was more into black music & dance music and any other "boy band" that had cute guys in it.

I was born in 66 - but our landlords kids were teanagers then and they played alot of Beatles while I was going up. They were also my babysitters, so I heard alot of music. From Beatles to mexican, it was fun growing up there we moved when I was 6.
